Hello my name is Ruby. Welcome to Knead a Latte. Knead a Latte is a food blog I have created to share my recipe journey. Or should I say my culinary adventures? I enjoy trying new recipes and learning about new ingredients. And I love taking pictures of my food. So I decided that I need a blog where I could document these aforementioned experiences.
I already had a blog a few years ago (Ruby Red Apron) but my laptop died and other things got in the way so that didn't work out. But I really missed blogging so I'm starting over again!
I absolutely love trying new ingredients and testing out new recipes. And I usually find myself baking and cooking bread, muffins, pizza, and pasta. But I also Iike smoothies, oatmeal, and vegetables so expect to see some of that here as well. I also want use my blog to share tips, how-to's, and things I've learned along the way.

Anyway.
My blog name Knead a Latte reflects a lot about my love for bread-baking and caffeine. I knead dough a lot and I need a latte while I knead it. That's my life almost every day.
Currently I'm in a tight financial spot. Which is why I'm currently taking pictures with my iPod touch, editing blog posts with my iPad, and I use a pizza stone as a photo backdrop sometimes. I make the most with what I have.
In fact, with my first blog my oven broke down unexpectedly so I was using a little roaster oven to bake cookies and bread. That thing is usually for roasting turkeys. Yeah, it was crazy. But it worked!
So that's me. This is my blog. I hope you enjoy it. I know I will enjoy blogging again.
