Review: RX Nut Butter

I received a free sample from Pinch Me.  Which I was not exactly asked to review on my blog. In fact, I don't think they know I have a blog or know who I am. But, since I have a blog I've decided why not share reviews on my blog?! It's fun. I don't get any compensation for this, it's just for my own fun.

Anyway, If you haven't you should definitely join pinchme.com. They send some really nice samples. Like this one! RX Nut Butter! I got the vanilla almond butter. I had previously tried the RX Bar so I was looking forward to trying the nut butter.

My favorite way to use nut butter is on my oatmeal.  It's a good way to add protein to you oatmeal.  And what I liked about this particular nut butter is that it has extra protein! It has egg white! But it doesn't taste like egg white at all, so don't worry. It also doesn't taste like that protein-y taste either. It just tasted like almond butter with a hint of vanilla and salt.

The portion sized package was nice as well. You just have to knead the package before you open it and then pour into your oats.  I actually had to open it all the way across the top to get it all out and not waste any of it. Maybe that's just me.

What I noticed after eating my oatmeal with RX nut butter is that I stayed full for so much longer. I usually feel hungry like an hour  or two later after breakfast... but not this time.

Anyway, about oatmeal toppings! What are your favorite?

I love to top it with nut butter, peanut butter, granola, bananas, goji berries, dried fruit, hempseed, chia seeds. It just tastes so much better when you cover up the oatmeal with different nuts, seeds, and I know it sounds crazy to add granola since its oats on oats but the crunchy texture is so good. You have to try it.

And that is that. RX nut butter and oatmeal equal perfection.
